UW = Underworld. An elite area that can only be accessed when that territory has favour. A Warder is an elementalist that deals heavily in earth magic wards to defend the party.

Heres one that this thread does not include, but Guildwiki does include it:

My Definition: Smurf or Smurf Guild - A high ranking (in the Ladder) or good GvG guild that makes a second guild so they can test out different GvG builds without it effecting their rank or guild stats.

Guildwiki's Definition: Smurf or Smurfing - Smurfing is the slang term for new guild created by a high ranking guild. This can be done for various reasons, including trying out new builds without tarnishing the main guilds name or annoyance with the high waiting times for top guilds when being matched. Smurfing is considered not sportsman-like by many guilds.

umm I dun feel like reading through this entire board so I'm just gonna include one thing that makes me crack up whenever I see it.

Rage(in your face):When a warrior or other powerful melee character is continuously attacking a target, generally a monk or other caster(squishy)

*begins cracking up*
By the way, I vote this thread for a sticky

There are a confusing amounts of acronyms used at Umbral Grotto and even though I've been playing the game for awhile, I had NO clue what they were talking about. It's like a foreign language there. Then, on my ranger, a group doing something called VSF invited me to join. It's kinda hard to know what build to bring if you don't know what the heck you're doing.

So, at Umbral Grotto I've heard (these were actual requests for something, no clue)

nb lfg
roj lf vsf
rog or hb lf vsf

And then there are cryers, Bips, hg and an odd assortment of other things.

Could someone PLEASE translate Umbral Grottoese for me?

Okay, so I figure 'lf' is looking for and 'lfg' is looking for group but what the heck?!

vsf=Voltaic spear farm
roj=ray of judgement
hb= healer's boon?
others I'm not sure. The VSF build is somewhere in the farming section, and probably on pvx as well.

There is a more recent sticky for this for future reference.

Anyway, Umbral grotto has people running a certain subdungeon of Slaver's Exile (a dungeon) over and over again because it sometimes drops rare loot, most specifically, the Voltaic Spear... and thus the VSF.
The build works by having a SF (shadow form) runner to get to the end of the dungeon, and then aggro the boss close to a wall so people can attack the boss through the wall at the very start of the dungeon.
BiP is blood is power, a necro skill used to help the SF runner with energy.
HB is healer's boon monks.
Cryers are people using Cry of Pain, a Sunspear skill to damage the boss.

@Loveless, an IAS is short of "Increased Attack Speed" (not to be confused with the IMS, increased movement speed). IAS is any skill that makes warriors, dervishes, etc attack faster, such as Frenzy, Flail, etc.
